I really like the look of the copper plating.
Again indebted to you AtD. Had no idea what the 'Wave' would look like on the north side - quite impressed at how the two bldgs are turning out.

The north side seems to hark back to an earlier bldg style - liking the copper.

FYI the inside of the brown walls is not copper but in fact wood panels varying in shade... not sure what it will look like when finished. i'll try and get a picture tomorrow. Doesn't look great at this stage.

wood can sometimes work, there are a few buildings in melbourne which use wood as a feature and look fantastic.

Lol nah they are an architectural feature...

haha They are to stop the workers from falling off and killing themselves when installing the wood panelling on the sides :)

I like that second photo, Urban. :)

How is Wave going? No one's posted any shots for a while. Has work paused?

No, work hasn't paused on Wave. It is just obscured by the Edge building. Hopefully someone can take a photo from Gilles Street.

So I'm now back home and figure I'll get a bit nostalgic and do my first photo update in about 2 1/2 years and... my battery dies.

Sorry kids, you'll just have do make do with the few shots I got from my first stop:

Nice photos. I am really loving how wave is turning out. The curve design is something not often seen in adelaide and is kind of refreshing.

What an excellent view indeed. That's modern design nicely constrasting heritage structures, as far as I'm concerned.
