There's no way he's Labor or Liberal. He's a Greens voter for sure.

I don't see why his age is relevant. Older people can write poorly and have wacky opinions too. Young people can be very inciteful because they have not been acculturated as much.Ben wrote: ↑Tue Apr 24, 2018 3:56 pmI agree with you Rev... Did I just say that?
He has no idea about any of the topics he writes his opinion pieces on. How he got that job I will never know.
he's only 17

You don't have teenage kids at home do you?! Expect all the respect and accolades for their opinions, with none of the hard yards of life lessons put in. Set in stone "opinion factoids" change rapidly when confronted with the realities of real world outside of school and university.SBD wrote: ↑Fri Apr 27, 2018 8:48 amI don't see why his age is relevant. I didn't particularly like the article style or content, but that is not related to his age. Good on him for getting a weekly column at his age. Now he has to prove he is worth it.
No I don't. But I have known teenagers who's opinions I have valued and trusted, and I have known both teenagers and people "old enough to know better" who's opinions I would not trust as far as I could throw them after screwing them into a ball. The person's age is not necessarily a good indicator of whether they have a clue.claybro wrote: ↑Fri Apr 27, 2018 5:35 pmYou don't have teenage kids at home do you?! We are talking about the Headquarters.ghs wrote: ↑Thu May 17, 2018 8:48 pmI would imagine that the space agency will most likely be located in multiple states. That way the commonwealth keeps people in different locations happy.
DSTO is located in different cities and we also saw with the AWD's that there were modules built in different locations.
When I think of NASA I think of the cutting edge technology they develop. Watching a rocket launch would be great, but I'd rather a research facility that lures thousands of engineers and scientists from interstaterev wrote: ↑Sun May 20, 2018 2:23 pmWe should be aiming, and I damn well hope we are aiming to get the fun stuff, and not the desk jockey stuff.
When you think of NASA, you think of the Kennedy Space Center in Florida where we all used to see the footage of the space shuttles going up, or Houston "we have a problem" mission control. You don't think of Washington DC where NASA's HQ is. They have nearly a dozen facilities spread across the country.
