"Choxit" - last chocolate place to close on Rundle St East. This seems like a strange decision when there are high-rises going up or proposed all around the East End?

This one hurts. The other stores are sad from the perspective of a vibrant East End, but Steven Ter Horst is the one I've frequented ever since he moved from Unley. I can understand the issues that come with maintaining two locations (the store and the kitchen), but it's not a good sign for Rundle St.

That's what, 3 burger joints on/just off Rundle St now? Not including Hungry Jack's. Anyone know how Burger Theory has been going since they changed to kangaroo meat?

As far as I can tell, not well at that shopfront, however their university stores are still doing a roaring trade. I actually think the rebrand killed them as much as their conversion to kangaroo meat. Kind of felt like they ripped the soul out of the brand we burger lovers all knew and loved.

On another positive note, I noticed San Churro Rundle Street had re-opened as of yesterday (Christmas Eve) when I walked past around 12 noon. :)

Walking down Rundle street tonight both mimco and endota spa have closed down next to each other. T2 is now vacant as is max brenner. San churro is back open. Hopefully all these shops at least get some pop ups by fringe. Not a great look.

Mimco, Endota and T2 all moved to the mall.

Endota and mimco had both tenancies for atleast the last three years. Makes sense to only have one but not good for Rundle Street.

The newsagency at the Adelaide Railway Station has been vacant since 2015 and is now currently used for storage.

Still, the future looks pretty ominous.
