Have you been to Parliament House in Canberra?

Thats the eastern stand isn't it. the top tier of the Southern stand is complete and they're starting to put the roof on it.

Western stand has red and teal seats, and everyone complemented how aesthetically pleasing is is.

In the middle of the 2nd tier southern stand there is a "cut out" section...is that for an English-style sight-screen, like at the Rose Bowl, Southampton?

Just block off the seats in front of it.
Regardless, I like it; it breaks things up a little in a stand that is massive and just goes the same the whole way along.

The red seats will be Black Diamond seating for Port Adelaide games.

Those coaches boxes are going to provide a perfect view of the ground for the coaching staff.

Great photos bretthandorf. I can't help but wonder - all this money, yet we'll still be sitting on uncomfy plastic seats.

Im guessing the dimensions on the map are fence to fence so it wont be as long as subi but it will be narrower. 167 x 124 compared to 191 x 132

Have you ever been to any stadium, anywhere, ever?!? If you want a comfy seat, stay at home. Most grounds have bucket seats...and more to the point, they're not THAT uncomfy.

Pack a bloody cushion if your arse is that tender.
A couple of great shots on Instagram (tagged at Adelaide Oval) of the exterior of the Southern Stand.
Looks like the frame for the exterior of the dining room/plaza superscreens has been attached.
Looking good.
