I wonder if they'll have anything on Adani's involvement in the solar project here in SA, while over in Queensland they are destroying fresh water sources, or if it'll be another usual ABC piece
Adani and Sanjev Gupta's Liberty Group are 2 entirely unrelated companies......I hope you're logic is better than "they both have Indian names, I wonder if they are related or the same thing?"
Adani invests in coal mines and renewable energy. Yes even coal miners want to make money from renewables.....
Wow...
Did I say anything about the ethnicity of those involved you imbecile?
I actually read on another site that the two companies were doing a solar project together, hence my post.
Go be butthurt in a corner and leave me alone.
Adani and Liberty are both planning large solar farms in the Whyalla area, but I haven't seen anything to suggest they are working together on it, just that it is happening at around the same time.
Coming from the most argumentative and aggressive poster on these forums .....

We still don't have full electrification. Platform doors may be here by 2040.

Do we really need platform doors though? The platforms are not THAT congested...

Looks and sounds like an extreme and unnecessary waste of money to me. Took me a while to even understand what it was, still didn't until I read
the explaination at bottom of video

I don't think there will be any cranes working today, definitely not in this windy weather.

This 50,000 capacity stadium in Taiwan completed in 2014 is covered with 8,844 solar panels that form the roof and exterior “cladding”, and is completely energy self sufficient.
What percentage of power is generated by any of our public buildings for internal use?

Great idea. Probably the closest we come is the Goyder Pavilion at the Showgrounds. I'm not sure how much of it's own power usage it generates though.

Assuming they only play games in the day time ? Or do they have large battery storage too?
I love the concept and even looks cool - and not trying to be always negative - but there is so much mis-information and marketing speak around energy and things like this - it detracts from the main issue - we need to find a "whole of system" approach - everyone at the moment is just trying to gauge out their profit and run without solving the core problem (I'm not even sure we understand the core problem yet to even identify a solution - would love to hear someone clearly articulate the problem with the current national grid impartially and factually as step 1)

They should have something done this when they revamped the Festival Theatre. Would have looked amazing covered with photovoltaic panels.
