It looks like the ibis on Grenfell and the UTS building near Central Station in Sydney had a baby.

It's unique for sure, but I'm dubious as to how good it would look in the flesh.

Agree this depends on the finish, could be really cool or ugly. Hoping the windows are a bronze brown as the renders and not green blue with a brown casting

Great looking building compared to the other proposals. Hopefully SCAP uses this as an aesthetic standard when reviewing the other ones.

It'll fit in to the skyline and be unnoticeable in a few years (if its built), but it looks rather dated.

Rev, it'll be the tallest building nearest the eastern parklands. It's also at least three blocks over from the Frome twins. It'll be very noticeable.

Didn't realize until these comments and looking it up on the map just how close to East Terrace this is. Going to have a massive impact.

The smaller SA Housing Trust building at the back of this site has now commenced with site works and footings etc underway

I just did a search and it says the application says still under assessment which explains the lack of progress.

From what I saw today it looks like they're using the site as a car park/site office area for the Tucker St site.
