how are they related. i fail to see any connection between these mixed commercial and residnetial developments.

Plans are now up on ACC website. Seems to be a lot of emphasis on conservatory and how it is above the height limits. I'm not overly confident about this being approved at all.

Apartments are 46m, hotel is 51m.

This really is a pretty ordinary design. Very bland. There appears to be no attempt to attract people to the square. It also fails to connect with the adjoining areas.

Both building are really bland. The hotel tower looks like some cheap Gold Coast building from the early 1990's, whereas the apartment building looks like public housing.

I thought there was a height restriction when it came to the squares in Adelaide. Didn't the Aurora have to knock off a couple of stories to fit in?
How much sunlight will Hindmarsh Square recieve? Last time I looked, trees and grass needed more than a couple of hours sunlight in the middle of the day. Still I guess that's why they invented Astroturf.
