Sorry cruise. Personally I think that star systems should be limited to 5 stars. The residential star rating being the worst culprit. They have set the minimum standard as 4 stars. This level should have been 1 star with highly energy efficient houses being 5 stars.

SA Water is starting to look very nice, especially now the roof structure has been created giving us an idea of its true height. They have started to reveal the western cladding above the lobby area shown in the second pic. I think I like it, metal or more shine/gloss would have been better but the patterns and colours create visual interest for a change in Adelaide. Can't wait to see the western curtain glass wall applied infront of the current western cladding. Pics from today:

Nice work on the pics as usual urban. I'm starting to dig this - at first I wasn't sure but now that the roof is on and the facade is being applied its starting to look great.

Really starting to like this one. The eastern elevation looks decent compared to the original renders which had too many shade features going on. Unfortunately the southern tower crane was being taken down today:
Had reservations about the vents in the glass at first but it is turning out well. Adds interest to this facade.

Wow, thats hot. The striped facade really adds architectural interest to this building. They have adapted this to compliment the Law Courts nicely. Now just for the finishing touches...

This building works well in Vic.Sq. - complements the area well and is of sufficient height to make an actual presence.

Thanks for all the comments!
Full res here:
I'd seen this happen before but I didn't have my camera on me - so I now have a policy of trying to take my camera with me as much as possible!
Took this one back on 22/11 but only just downloaded it to the PC last night:

Thanks for that. Sun rise shots are something we don't see very often. I know I'm too lazy to be up before sunrise, let alone in the city taking photos.

This building is being constructed really quick! and I love it.
Is it the same height as the family court? could do with a little more height, but I guess that's the limit for that section of the CBD?
