According to real Estate.com Bohem completion is December this year. I assume it would take several months to demolish and get the site ready so this would work out perfect. Especially the last couple of months the workers are different to those needed at the start of construction.

Nothing too exciting, but I heard an ad on the radio for this development while driving along.

Towards the end, I'm not sure the exact wording, but they also something along the lines of construction on this starting next month. Putting aside the possibility that the developers are being overly optimistic (we all know it's happened before, wasn't Echelon meant to start early this year?), that would coincide nicely with the news that current tenants are moving out as Nathan mentioned.

Looks like work about to commence.

Probably a few inches, but would be funny if they were sticking on an extra 2m to claim the tallest title.

If they are doing away with underground parking, bringing it above ground and adding apartments and overall height, it has to be 10 metres plus.

Probs unlikely, but I'm hoping for 18m to make it 150M or a true skyscraper.

The variations are old news. This is to show demolition about to start.

Seems to me all those variations and the height change are from when it went from 30 to 40 levels

All food tenancies are vacated and the tables and chairs have been removed. Its going to be interesting to see what they do with the place given that either side there is still an Asian food court. Unless the other 2 landowners have agreed to renovate as well.

It's a bit of a pain to explain since the area is such a mess of little buildings, but the longitudinal boundaries of the site are the western wall of the Ruthven Mansions building and the eastern wall of that three-storey building painted blue on Austin Street (extend that boundary south to Porters Lane). Everything between those boundaries will be demolished except for Assay House.

Article in the Tiser that Maxcon was announced as builder yesterday, and that construction to start "next month."
