I note that they are refitting the old BNKR store on the cnr of Pultney and Rundle Mall - maybe that's where the Dr M's place will be
Ex BNKR would be a good site for JD Sports, close to Nike and Adidas stores down this end of the mall

I heard the old BNKR may become yet another Chemist Warehouse. Which would make 4 in the Mall and 5 in the city, and clearly an anti-competitive move to swamp out nearby chemists.

What a waste, hell, I'd rather McDonald's open up there...

They need to buy another chemist for the license.
Are we aware of any pharmacies closing down in the mall?

Oh true, I forgot about the pharmacy guild's tight grip on regulation. Perhaps then they're relocating one of their other stores? Or maybe Terry White in Citi Arcade is closing as part of the renovations there? It could all be moot too -- it was only rumoured to me not confirmed.

This sounds more like it, any idea where KFC and Sushi Train are going in Rundle Square? Might answer this very questions.

I walked by the old BNKR store the other day, and there were plans sitting on a table inside that said it was for a Chemist Warehouse? I will take a picture if it is still there

They're also recruiting on Seek for a new 'CWH Adelaide Pultney' store, so that about confirms it. If they're relocating, I'd say it'd be Adelaide Central Plaza that'd close as Gawler Place and Myer Centre have more distinct catchments. Shame in a way, because a chaotic-looking Chemist Warehouse isn't exactly the most attractive gateway to the Mall (although admittedly better than a vacant storefront).

5 Chemist Warehouses in the city isn't that crazy theres 3 in Modbury / Ridgehaven at TTP, Modbury Triangle and Pelican Plaza all within 500m. Is there weird rules that prevents them opening new Pharmacies?

You know what? I think I'd prefer the vacant storefront.
I think it's appalling that one of our most prominent intersections, on our prime retail strip, will be a fucking mess on all four corners.

Chemist Warehouse is well known for spending more time avoiding the rules than a mob lawyer. They were recently nearly done for having management intimidate, threaten, and in one instance slam a car into, an employee strike over their appalling disregard for workplace relations laws.

Doesn't look like a Chemist Warehouse based on the fit out, looks more like a convenience store/OTR?...
