I'm curious about the tarpaulin on the adjoining building... presumably they're intending to fix the wall treatment but I'm surprised they didn't do so prior to popping a tower in front?

This one is even more detailed from the video at the link above. Also attached a couple more renders too.
I think this is on the internal side of the Sands & Mcdougall facade?

The incorporation of the S&McD building looks amazing in my opinion...

Agree.
Think it does it justice even though it is now just a facade.

Also looks like some effort has been made to carry certain lines and elements through from the old to the new.

It's missing the screaming crackheads in Everlast tracksuits and some broken windows on the ground level.

If only it was taller, it would be a diamond in the skyline. Another missed opportunity for Adelaide.

I agree, but I think high-rise office buildings are a dying breed post-pandemic.

Businesses are moving back to staff being in the office and not working from home.
There's several large projects for office & mixed used with office that will be going up in interstate, that either were approved prior to covid or proposed after it.

its average height for a KW street building. At least its new and not run down and dilapidated like the rest of the street.
