Thanks mate - that proportion is something I have been wanting to know for some time.
BTW - GREAT to see ths project going ahead - only letdown is the overall style of the hotel - could have been more imposing/lavish and less like a block of flats. Still, looking forward to this one 'rising from the dust' as it were.
It might sound silly, but this is one of my favourite projects going around, caus of its design. I love its commie block look and the way that it wraps around the square. You wait until its finished, this will look great

Great to see. I looked this morning and it is a substantial frame.
For the first time that I can ever remember there are 10 cranes working in Adelaide (9 in the CBD and 1 at West Lakes).

Thanks for the pic Ben.
Great to see this crane going up already and a core box there too. Hindmarsh Square and the southern end of King William are real construction hot spots at the moment. Loving it.

Not much has changed if anything since my last photo. Looks like they started to install the cabin base but what concerns me is it's really low and there is no lifting collar? I thought the apartments would be much taller then what it looks like its going to be.

I think there is now a lifting collar - about 3/4 the way up the existing height.
The apartments will be around the same height at Aurora so the crane is not high enough at the moment.

There would be a climbing collar. They can retro fit them.
