Fuuuuck me
, Pikey, I went and got my camera, and was gonna go outside and take a snap, and the large structure that I saw is now down, but i can just see a bit of it sticking up. I wonder if its the mobile crane putting up the crane now. I swear Im wide awake. I might ride in now!

ok maybe not, what I think I saw was the crane for the conservatory, almost turned right around to the south which got me confused, its now turned back to the usual angle
from the walkway balcony
thats the furthest zoom with my cheapy camera

Ahh cool, yep, i'd say that's Conservatory's crane.
Aurora would be blocked by those trees.
Nice view too by the way!

haha, I got quite a shock when I saw a crane in a weird spot, and then went and looked out 3 mins later and it was gone. I should've had a coffee first.
I did go and have a look on my way to markets. There were a few workmen around so I hope they wont be teasing us much longer. Also, they're currently ripping an old building to shreads in Waymouth St

Well, if anyone is around the site today, keep an eye out for tower pieces or a huge temporary crane.

Two mobile cranes on site this mrning.
Along the extension of Pirie street, in the parklands, are 4 semi-trailers with green tower crane sections loaded and parked waiting.
This crane base will go up this afternoon

Excellent!
I went past at 7:40 and there was a heap of blokes standing around, with no crane pieces that I could see. Waiting for the delivery by the sounds of it!
