Great pic and Aurora looks to be progressing well too in the background.

Man where did that come from? Gees the building seems to be moving quite fast.

Impressive shot there. Really brings out Adelaide's density.
Just out of curiousity - that little building in between the big hotel and CoH (the former RAA office) is that heritage listed?
I'm led to believe it isn't because why is there a huge concrete wall (belonging to the hotel) adjacent to the site, I thought if adjacent properties were heritage listed, newer ones can utilise the airspace above it? Will CoH have the same thing too in this case?

Like Will said it's heritage listed, but that bare cement wall is there just in case the place doesn't burn down and damage the boutique hotel you mentioned. It's regulations.Shuz wrote:Impressive shot there. Really brings out Adelaide's density.

Great photos guys, I love that one from the back alley. It definetly holds some laneway-style potential.
Just to clarify for my building list updates - it appears 3 floors have been built, and is up to the 5th or 6th structurally?

It looks like it is being financed by Babcock & Brown....how would it work hypothetically if a financier went into liquidation mid-way, are the funds 100% guaranteed for the builder/developer until the end of development?

'Little Mac' won't go under just yet, they'd sell some of their assets to stay alive (just barely I would guess as they were a $1.5 billion company and now worth $500 million). However if a financier financed a development 100% and went belly up I doubt you'd see it getting finished (unless a white knight should come along).how_good_is_he wrote:It looks like it is being financed by Babcock & Brown....how would it work hypothetically if a financier went into liquidation mid-way, are the funds 100% guaranteed for the builder/developer until the end of development?

Went into the sales office today, and I seriously recommend to everyone to take a look. The models are awesome, and they have a 'real-life' showroom of what the apartments for this and 20HS look like. Its amazing. The lady said that 75% of the building has sold, and that only 9 apartments are left. I left my details to let James Hines know that we're following this one closely

You know these guys and the guys building the Aurora do not mess around, they're going up so quickly. What is it a level a week or something?!
Also I was concerned that with the whole Babcock and Brown saga there could be implications with this one but the girl in the display office assured me that everything was fine and all financing arrangements are already in place. And yeah if you get a chance have a look, they've laid out a replica of one of the 3 bedroom apartments (well the living area of and balcony) and it's very impressive.
