I can confirm I am not driving. If I was, all you would see is streams of light because I drive so fast and I didn't think that would be appropriate.
I noticed the building neighbouring the scaffolding site is also being sold. Does this development cover both?

In answer to your question Hi-Touch, no the development is an 'island' site, i.e. is bounded by streets on all four sides, so does not include the site for sale to its east.

Surely i would have expected that whoever is providing finance eg bank, building society, superannuation fund etc would ensure that the builder/developer has paid some level of insurance prior to proceeding to ensure that the building is built/finished/handed over even in the event the builder goes broke

Demolition is underway at the back of the building.

there's no doubt that it's serious business.
Whenever I see scaffolding, there is a small thought in the back of my mind saying "maybe they're refurbishing the display office"

I think they are, pretty sure I saw a recycling sign yesterday on the fence that indicated to me that the bricks are being reused.

Red bricks are always recycled. Demolition contractors are recyclers, even if not in name. The price they charge for demolition factors in the value and resale of the building materials they're getting out of it. If a demolition contractor weren't reselling red bricks then they wouldn't be in business long.timtam20292 wrote: ↑Mon Aug 13, 2018 11:42 amI think they are, pretty sure I saw a recycling sign yesterday on the fence that indicated to me that the bricks are being reused.

More construction and it's another one of the new talls. This is exciting.

The sign on the fence just to the right of the worker in the fluoro vest.
