Extra flight to Fiji each week commencing April 2025.
Fiji Airways is killing it at the moment, most people I know looking to get in and out of Europe and/or the States on the cheap are taking Fiji Airways. As exciting as it might seem to get bigger international carriers like United Airlines here, I would advocate for propping up smaller carriers looking to get a foot in the Australian market.

I understand the North America connection, but how do you get to Europe on Fiji Airways?

The Advertiser is reporting Emirates is
officlally returning to Adelaide!
I know it has been discussed recently, but great for it to be formalised.

Have any of the aviation gurus on here heard anything further/lately about when Virgin will resume Adelaide to Bali flights?

I'm not a guru. All I can say is, until Virgin resolves the issue of lack of (Boeing) planes they won't be returning to Denpasar quickly. The earliest if lucky is first quarter of 2025. Keep your fingers crossed.
Cheers

For those of you that fly the red kangaroo, QANTAS has opened their refurbished Qantas Club at ADL yesterday.
Here are some images supplied by QANTAS with captions...
A full buffet menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner...
and barista coffee and light refreshments.
Perennial favourites Coopers beer and Penfolds wines will be on offer at the new sandstone central bar.
About 80 per cent of the seats within the new Qantas Club have USB A and C chargers as well as wireless charging mats fixed to the terrazzo coffee tables.
Upgrading will continue with additional seating in the new Qantas Club and the brand-new Business Lounge which is expected to open mid 2025.
Cheers

It looks pretty good. Especially compared to that awful dark school canteen look of Melbourne Airport QC. Well done, so far. I hope someone can do a review of the food and drinks too.

I seem to recall the AA masterplan outlining that Qantas Club would be moved Level 4 of the airport, freeing up this space for more retail/hospitality space, seems strange to revamp when such a move could be on the immediate horizon. I remember Qantas Club at the old domestic terminal, it had incredible 180 views of the tarmac. Not sure why this and Virgin Lounge have been shoved to the front of this terminal where the views are back of house utility spaces and the carpark. I know views aren't everything but it certainly adds to the experience considering how much using these lounges costs.

The view will be completely blocked by 2035 with terminal expansion. There will be no windows.

Wait, which view? The current or Level 4? Level 4 is technically the roof/tarmac control centre cabin.

All the windows in the entire Qantas club precinct will be blocked when the terminal is eventually expand in the future. Everything. It will be windowless. I imagine they probably will install like a skylight and an out outdoor barbecue with a skylight there like they’ve done at the Perth International Lounge to allow people to breathe a bit.
