Adelaide Oval, looking good around the world....
'English cricketers enjoy a night out in Adelaide'. UK news, Mail Online, gives another view of a beat up story by local media.
'Well-behaved and friendly.'
Interesting part of the story - inclusion of an Instagram photo of the beautiful Adelaide Oval and comment by Kevin Pietersen @KP24 (who has 1,464,139 Twitter followers).
Pietersen posted a picture of the Adelaide Oval on Instagram, saying: 'There she is.. The beautiful Adelaide Oval! Someone has said the foot bridge will be open on game day..'

Thanks Henwii for the photos
It's clear in this one they've gone for the longest possible straight boundaries this year, which is pleasing:

Also, here's a clear photo of the Sir Don Bradman pavilion name.

Out of interest, why Pavilion for Bradman and Stand for the others? Not like they used "Sir Edwin Smith Pavilion" because it used to be Sir Edwin Smith Stand at the "old" ground.

Probably because that's where the players facilities are, which are traditionally in a 'pavilion'. Also, that part of the stand has more of a pavilion feel as opposed to the other two stands.

This place has a brilliant feel. I can't wait for the footy next year.

...last post, promise.
Apparently the reason the name on the "Torrens" Stand is blacked out on the signage is that it's actually going to be called the Riverbank Stand and the signage needs to be corrected.

Hahaha, I was wondering if they would name the stand before the Test - seems they were going to but then this!
Don't let the 'Tiser and Channel 9 News get on to this, "another stuff-up in the preparation of the new Adelaide Oval"
