Hey Micbara, when do you think construction will start and finish on this development? Could you give us a rough timeline if you can?
Finishing the working drawings is a huge task, practically speaking I would expect construction to commence feb 2024 and finish 2 years later, the program looks like around 18 months, but that's a little to ambitious if you ask me.VinyTapestry849 wrote: ↑Sun Apr 09, 2023 10:27 amHey Micbara, when do you think construction will start and finish on this development? Cheers,
I love this honesty. Did you have to get approval from higher ups before engaging with us or just YOLO'ing it?MicBara wrote: ↑Tue Apr 11, 2023 5:27 pmFinishing the working drawings is a huge task, practically speaking I would expect construction to commence feb 2024 and finish 2 years later, the program looks like around 18 months, but that's a little to ambitious if you ask me.VinyTapestry849 wrote: ↑Sun Apr 09, 2023 10:27 amHey Micbara, when do you think construction will start and finish on this development? yes we'll only be 50 years behind when a building of that height was Melbourne's tallestVinyTapestry849 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 12, 2023 10:38 amI was upset about the height decrease to 183m instead of 187, but like literally... its only 4 metres it'll still be hella tall compared to what we have now
I think it'll be good for Adelaide
Well unless we move the airport, its likely to stay that wayabc wrote: ↑Wed Apr 12, 2023 6:27 pmyes we'll only be 50 years behind when a building of that height was Melbourne's tallestVinyTapestry849 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 12, 2023 10:38 amI was upset about the height decrease to 183m instead of 187, but like literally... its only 4 metres it'll still be hella tall compared to what we have now

If you’ve ever been to Perth you will know tall buildings don’t make a city…abc wrote: ↑Wed Apr 12, 2023 6:27 pmyes we'll only be 50 years behind when a building of that height was Melbourne's tallestVinyTapestry849 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 12, 2023 10:38 amI was upset about the height decrease to 183m instead of 187, but like literally... its only 4 metres it'll still be hella tall compared to what we have now

New York had a 300m tower a full 70 years before Melbourne….
P.S. in 1973, the tallest building in Perth wasn’t even 100m. The 131m AMP building opened in 1975.
