[COM] Conservatory on Hindmarsh | 62m | 18lvls | Mixed Use
[COM] Re: #U/C: Conservatory on Hindmarsh | 62m | 18lvls | Mixed Use
I think this building itself will look just stunning with all the blue glass once its complete, but I do fear that it will be quite a disproportionate contrast to the red facade of neighbouring Wyatt House.

this is located on such a nice setting - Hindmarsh Sq
A little cafe or kiosk with some chairs and tables wouldn't go astray in the square

This square has more potential to be fully utilized than VSQ - the numbers and clientelle will be around, within walking distance to most things.Hence your (jk1237) idea of a Kiosk/cafe is not so outlandish or unfeasable as what might be imagined.
BTW - Excellent pic jk1237 - good tourist/high rise resi promo when CHS is completed. Like I've once said, too many tourist pics don't do Adelaide justice as a real city.

Couple of pics from today (1st is a bit blurry):

I'm pretty sure this one has either topped out or has one more core rise to go, now is the time for the floorplates to catch up.

Walked past at lunchtime today and noticed they have placed a polished granite facade
that tapers down from ( decreases in width ) from south to north on the front of the
building. I didn't have a camera so couldn't get a snap.
I know this sounds a little confusing but if someone can take a photo it will
become a lot clearer.
Couldn't see this in any model or render of this project - looks good though

hey I noticed this also, also walking off to lunch ... I had to do a double take as I thought it might have been some kind of scaffolding or sheeting .. but yes, its granite looking ... interesting.
This one is going up nicely and looks impressive .. love seeing the 3 cranes around the square .. I want MORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't get too excited about this one going ahead so quickly. The quicker it goes ahead the less time we will have that crane there !!

From Brisbane (and looking at the pics!) counted 13 floors - 5 to go and so it appears one more rise at least - good value eh guys!

It's currently on the 4th level of apartments, and there are 10 in total, so I'd say one more core rise, then another core pore and then the formwork removed exposing the beginings of the Lift Motor Room.
You can clearly see the 5 levels of office and then the change in floorplates for the apartments.

Yep, Levels 10 to 18 are residential, with Level 13 just completed.

Are we absolutely sure about the height of this one, particularly in relation to Wyatt House next door?
In all the renders it looks as though it is about the same height or very close to the top arch of Wyatt House.
Now that the core is almost topped out it is also looking close to that height, not 10 metres lower. Maybe it is just the perspectives but from a lot of different views it is appearing taller. The following abc webcam shows the core looking faily close to the top of Wyatt House.

Well, truth be told - I thought this one was initially put forth as 68m tall, and then a revised application put in for 62m for compliance, but the 68m was approved anyw
That, or I'm making stuff up lol. But I'm fairly sure I remember this being 68m initially.
