Tenants moving in in July.
It seems that this building won't be large enough to accommodate all the different teams and departments that were planned to occupy it.

unsurprising given less than a handful of commercial office buildings built in Adelaide CBD over the past decade. A-grade office space is thin on the ground.ChillyPhilly wrote: ↑Fri Mar 10, 2023 8:14 amTenants moving in in July.

Noticed while on the tram that sandstone-like cladding has started to go up on the podium. Fair bit lighter than the renders, but looked nice.

Isn't it more that the amount of space Services Australia agreed to rent isn't big enough? As I recall a third of the building was being leased out to other partiesChillyPhilly wrote: ↑Fri Mar 10, 2023 8:14 amTenants moving in in July.

That brick cladding is not at all what I expected, but it seems like a great choice along with those street level forms to avoid dominating the laneway.

Looks good. Always impressed with the finishing on Charter Hall developments.

From across KWS
The old section blends in with and adds to appearance of the new building..

It's probably the best option available to maintain some semblance of the laneway feel without the development turning the laneway into something resembling a Westfield mall. Fair outcome.

A photo from this arvo. According to our intranet, the fitout of several floors is well underway. To what extent there will be enough space for all the Services Australia teams has not been explained.

I think the brick facade looks really good

Cheers for that Andy!
The choice of materials is a good one. Final judgement on the material finishes around the windows, but it's looking suitably laneway like.
A few arbours may do the trick down the line.
