Another core rise today. Seems to be almost one weekly now.

Another core rise on the weekend and the two yellow pillars were also installed. These are quite big!!

It looks as though the upper floors of Altitude will be constructed in steel. I thought the steel going up was associated with the deck level but more large steel columns went up yesterday and when you look at the render it looks as though a more lightweight steel frame construction will be used for the upper levels.

This one will really speed up now, it was already going fast, so should be good to watch.

Yes, the poduim levels are complete (as far as pouring is concerned) and the "high rise" levels will be of steel framing.

Evidently the core rise cyccles will be sped up to a four day rise rate now too.

Four day rises is unheard of in good ol' Adelaide. That's Dubai-pace.
Will be good to see Altitude reach new altitudes.

I found those yellow poles quite interesting. At least they add some colour to the scene.

wow, those big yellow noodles do look interesting. Im now eagerly waiting what this whole thing will look like. Could bring a bit of much needed modernness and daringness to our city.

The main render for this proposal uses tricky dusk light to make the building look a lot better than it may turn out I suspect. Those bright yellow poles could either look great or terrible in the end. I worry because some of the upper level wall cladding is meant to match this colour according to the render. I really hope this one does not turn out like the Gallery next door. This one includes a fair bit more glass going by the render so hopefully that will help.

This is prob what our city needs.. Something a little outrageous and hopefully this will spur other developers to pull their finger out of their ass!

A lot brighter then I expected.

I don't think it's developers that are the problem, rather the continued forced watering down of even slightly bold proposals thanks to the ACC.

i drove past earlier today - the yellow poles appear much 'brighter' than the yellow signage on the corner. Hard to tell if they'll look good, but again they were very 'bright'

Lol, maybe this development will resemble "one of those Huuge Pakistani marquees"...

for those that dont know (including me until today) Mellor St has been extended into a paved promenade in between the Altitude site and the recently finished Gallery apartments. Looks good, and you are within a metre of the new construction site if anyone wants to take close up snaps

As someone said before, interesting noodles. One would hope the project does not become over garish with excesses of yellow scattered through it. Height looking good.
