Construction companies now have tenders out for this project in today's paper. Should hopefully see some action soon.

Thanks for the update Urban.

I remember you had a similar update regarding the Rowlands Place apartment building a few months ago. And considering that this too is being built by Chinese developers, I too am confident that this one will proceed without delays too.

The view to the city from the North Adelaide golf course around Strangways Terrace will look amazing with so many cranes in a few months!

No worries Will.

Once projects go to the building tenders stage they usually seem to proceed to construction.

I haven't seen one go to tender and not proceed, apart from Hills which stopped during site works mainly due to the GFC. There is always a first time though but as you say being Chinese developers I would say it will proceed soon.

Sales office is being fitted out at 73 franklin Street as I type this. I hope to go in and ask when construction is expected to commence in the next few weeks if no one else does.

I was just having a closer look at the revised plans for this building, and I am happy to report that this building will actually be 53.7m tall, to top of structure.

I'm not too sure if this development will turn out good actually. Just on the architects website and this architect has by far proposed the worst buildings in Adelaide in recent times inculding the Octagon apartments on Hindley, UNO apartments and renaissance centre apartments.

Hey Ben, Greenway Architects are no longer the architects for this building. Cheesman architects were appointed the new architects when the plans were changed.

I actually really like it, seem to have good sized apartments and focused on 3 beds over just 2 (with studio)

not sure about cheeseman they seem to like the old box and glass look.

Impressive. Loving those skyline shots.

All the development in the western CBD at the moment is starting to have results.

I thought this was a real shocker, but those last renders make it look really nice!

Does anyone know how far away this one is from being started?
