How long dopes it take to do 1... and how hard is it?

I find it especially amazing that we have buildings which only exist on paper already popping up

The Currie Street tower for instance took about 3 nights to do.. even though I had the da for that building, it was more complicated working out the curves.

The ayers house building took considerably longer as I didn't have a floorplan of the building(s). And had to take about 50 photographs from various angles.

Hindmarsh 20 took about 1 1/2 nights each tower (hotel and apartment).

Now i'm getting the hang of working with components that I build as I go along, meaning I can reuse things like windows rather having to recreate them every single time i need one drawn up (my first mistake when doing the santos and sa water building). That's cut build time immeasurably.

Got two more on the go at the moment, one will be rundle lantern as i'd really anxious to see what we're getting. And possibly bent street apartments. Also have 1/4 of rah done.

by the way, does anyone have the floorplans and/or da for Bent St Apartments?

How would one view these buildings?

Simple, download and install Google Earth.

Then click on the link to the model, there you will see a button [View in Google Earth], click that and bobs your uncle.

Howie I have the floorplan but I think it is in storage atm. If you give me a couple of days I can grab it. You know I will be looking at your model of Bent St Apts with a fine tooth comb cos it's my building

Awesome! Can you send me the floorplan for it? went out there today, took about 20 shots of the building from various angles (including the frome st carpark). Btw, when you say that's your building, do you live in it?

lol bent street appts... i cant help but laugh when i see the Big sign on the top of it saying BENT in those colourful letters.... wonder if out of towners get the wrong message

Live in the blue section of the apts - top right when looking directly at it. Shame I was at uni most of the day or I would have bumped into you...

You should see the foyer then... One wall is inscribed with 'BENT' I am just waiting for someone to write above it 'get'

Ahh, yes, i looked like a paparazzi snapping photos of the residents hanging out on the balcony

The 20 Hindmarsh development will go east of Bent St, currently where the cinema is, according to the DA. The placement is close but ain't perfect. So the carpark next door to bent st stays.
