Both sites are now, as at 7/3/2020 working on the basements . Note there is now a precast concrete wall between the 2 sites. The crane base is on the southern site (furthest from the city. Please click on pictures for bigger.

The actual crane for 248 Unley Rd has not installed as at 1/4/2020. meanwhile the excavation of the basement at 246 Unley road has become deeper. the start of a service core is in the centre of the picture. Please click on picture for bigger.

Good news, there will be a crane on the other site 246 Unley Rd as well. What I thought was the start of a service/lift core (see picture above). turned out to be footings for a tower crane. Picture 4/4/2020. The crane on 248 (southern site) has not gone up yet but a mobile crane was installing some precast panels today.

The crane at 248 is 1/2 complete as of today 8/4/2020. (this is at the bottom of d3v310per' s picture above).

Yeah, I've been wondering this also.

Also, for some reason graffiti vandals are having a field day with this development.

Two Jobs to my understanding.

One is being built by Catcorp and the other by Bert Farina Constructions.

Separate but adjacent projects. I believe the two builders are cooperating on things like access to minimise disruption.

Definitely two 2 jobs next to each other. the white crane is at 246 Unley Road (Bert Farina Constructions) , closest to the city and the yellow crane is at 248 Unley Rd (Catcorp) further to the south.

248 Unley yellow crane. work on this site is progressing on level 3 which is set back from the lower 2 levels. Pictures from 16/7 show front (Unley Rd) and rear views.

246 Unley white crane. Work on this site is progressing more slowly due to the more complicated basement layout with one level at the front and 2 levels at the rear with connecting car ramps between all levels. Pictures from 16/7/20
