I went passed at mid day today and there was no one on site and no sign of any recent work.

There is definitely nothing happening here.

Anyone know what the ramifications of this are for this development? does it make it more or less likely?

If I’m honest I hope it means this is dead. Because even in the current render form it looks like garbage.

Why? It's hardly offensive, and at around 60 metres will more than blend in with the rest of our skyline. I welcome another hotel in our CBD.

No turns out it was workers for the site next door parking there..

Has anyone passed by the site? I wonder if works has already started although I doubt if that's the case since I haven't heard that this has been out for tender

If someone had and there were works happening I’m sure they’d post it. No need to keep bumping threads asking essentially the same question each time. When people have information, they provide it.
