The Small piling rig inserted piles around the perimeter and has now left the site. There is no action on site currently..

I think that piling was weeks ago but nothing since . Could be wrong . Odd one this one. Very small site. Even so it's slow progress and I doubt will be open in 12 months . Reflects the closed again / open again history of the hotel itself which is still open according to its website .

No one on site for over 3 months. Seems to be an issue with this project.

https://www.yicorp.com.au/ was the link provided in the OP and is now dead.

Fantastic, a great city venue shut down and partially demolished...

The state gov really need to intervene at this point and stop this from happening. This has happened so much especially post Covid. We need to ensure no more.

So let this be a lesson to those advocating for the Cranker demolition. Frankly, there should be legislation preventing this kind of thing, hefty fines for walking away from projects.

Land banking should be banned.

This is a real shame. Back in the day pre covid this was probably my favourite little pub.

Can't say the place was ever heaving with people, but it had a bit of character about it. The owner at the time had tried the "S.A only" business model, with regards to beers, food and wine.

The half-arsed refurb afterwards took away any form of charm the place once had. And now, it would be unlikely it will ever pour a beer again. Hope im proven wrong.
