Down to 4, now the Engineering Building crane is down. 20 Hindmarsh Sq apartments and Wave also to come down in next few weeks.

This number will grow again soon, the Adelaide Oval redevelopment has it's first crane base on site.

Add 1 for Adelaide Oval. It went up today and it looks pretty cool.

There could be another 2 going up there in the next couple of months and there's the possibility of 2 more at 140 North Terrace.

We could get back up to 9 :)

Not quite. Such a prediction is based on the cranes currently on construction sites remaining there for a few months more. The crane for Edge/Wave will not be around for much longer. Likewise the crane for the apartment tower at 20 Hindmarsh Square will only remain for 2 more months at maximum.

Hopefully we will start to see some new proposals and some old ones reinvented now the GFC seems safely over.

Things are really starting to dry up on the "crainage" with one 1 expect to be erected for the remainder of this year. And based on how funding issues have played havoc on things this year I'm sure next year will also get to a very slow start..

Ben, in the approved upcoming section of the list, I think it would be safe to remove 20-22 Currie Street, Freemasons apartments and 82 Flinders Street, as those developments are pretty dead.
