From today. Looks to me that this is more like the original 68m if Wyatt house is 72m?

The glass is just insanely sexy. And to think the whole building will be blue with... envy?

Has anyone here been in the new Santos building on Flinders St? I went in there last year as part of an 'Unearth Your Future' Course and I noticed that as the sun shone through the window of the conference room that we were in, these shades (on the outside of the building) moved accordingly so that minimal sunlight would enter the building. Are the sun shades on the Conservatory going to be similar to this?

No they are variable angle shades on Santos. These will be fixed in the same manner as the CC1 & CC2 northern facade shades are.

Article in the Independent Weekly business section stating that the Department of Trade and Economic Development is expected to lease all the office space in this one. They are currently on North Tce somewhere, i think.

Are they using the crane to install the glass exterior.....
According to Allkai the crane is coming down at christmas time, but there's still a lot of
glass to be installed..... What's going on ?

Nup the glass is installed by a very small portable "crane" that is inside the building, and lifts each panel to the level below for fitment. I'll see if I can find a pic.

Correct, the facade is installed from the inside with nifty little crawler cranes....

VERY impressive pics of of an imposing bldg - like someone said, pity it was not a little taller. Tested this to desktop - looked rediculous stretched but great tiled.
