Have you had too much to drink tonight? Step away from the keyboard old man.
If you like the way north terrace’s modern developments on the boulevard have been turning out, you must be well and truly cooked.
It’s been progressively getting worse and this picture shows it.

Perhaps my comment was placed in the wrong thread as I do think this is a pile of shit and have expressed that since forever.
He did however make stupid remarks across various threads that all were in such a childlike tone.

So you agree, but don't like how I expressed my opinion, so you attack me for it?

I know some of you don't like the idea of this building, but I'd like more like it, I want many more 100m+ high towers, maybe even a 200m one in the future. We can't just go on about this continually, its DONE, BUILT, can't do nothing about it

Anyone want to start a discord server for this? Sensation-adelaide is getting old and laggy imo
About the building, I think it makes the city look bigger, and more "business" like I guess.

I don’t agree with your opinions in other threads. Attacked. Lol please. You’re not worth such strong action. Don’t flatter yourself

So you're happy to see 100m+ developments go up no matter how architecturally banal they look? Your POV is a dangerous one.

Hell yeah. As long as they don't say Melbourne or Sydney or it I'm fine.

Your POVs can be worse than rev's so I wouldn't be pointing the finger at this bloke. You are the dangerous one.

Imagine going to that desert called Perth, such an isolated, dull location. The only reason that country town is around is because of all the iron ore. Adelaide was once bigger than them, hopefully, we can regain that margin with this new, and continuing economic CBD boom.

Could make the same argument for here tbh. Why does Adelaide continue to exist other than because it already exists?
Perth overtook Adelaide in terms of population around 1982 (from memory) and I doubt that will change because of Perth's importance as a capital on the western side of Australia and its proximity to Asia. Also, a few extra buildings being built in the CBD is hardly going to close the gap between the two cities and I'm not sure the metrics of Adelaide's economy really indicate it is experiencing a 'boom.'
None of this is a problem anyway, Adelaide is a great city with so much potential to be even better. We don't need to compare ourselves to Perth.

This building looks average because the hoist at the front means they can't complete the front at the moment. Once they complete the building I think it will look reasonably good.

Very well put. As an expat Adelaidean living in Perth, I agree. Adelaide has a certain dignity, grace and elegance that Perth will never have. Tall buildings and larger populations mean nothing if they are spread out like a dogs breakfast. Adelaide is compact which gives a feeling of vibrancy despite a smaller population, and still well planned. It just needs to keep growing at a manageable pace, and keep up with transport infrastructure-all of which it is now doing. Perth has a kind of grungy wild West vibe-a bogan tradie paradise which some people enjoy, but also has its obscenly wealthy areas and attractions and I enjoy both cities for their difference. Those in Perth who have been to Adelaide always acknowledge it is a lovely city, and don't seem to need to compare-at least in my experience.
