Starting to see this thing pop up from multiple angles now, and with another 8 floors to go, it should make a nice little impact.

Another core rise today. 18 in the box. Close to being topped out by end of year.

Hideous when you consider the northern and southern faces of the building.

The renders on page 1 of this thread looked more interesting IMO

True, the north south walls are quite ugly.
Looks like a good spot for a tally to slot in right next to it tho! And cover the north wall
But I quite like the front

North wall looks good (with the 'windows') in the sense that it gives an uninterrupted rise all the way up - thus enhancing height.

Doubt anything will be built to the immediate north of this because of the heritage three floor buildings. If we want that wall covered, then those heritage buildings will most likely have to go, which I would hate to see. Something
could be built behind those facades, but then it would most likely not cover up the entire wall, as it would be set back slightly.
I don't love the north and south walls, but they could be far worse.

I was thinking more about keeping the three floor heritage building and building a modern tall building out the top of it

Massive crane raise today. This nearly dominates the skyline next to Westpac.

The crane as seen from Victoria Square. Note there will be windows in the south side facing Victoria Square

Another shot from today. I'm really liking the glass on this one.
