Hi Ben, do you mean it should be rejected coz it's too short? just clarifying...
Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work.

This is on the southern side of Hindley Street somewhere between (probably in the middle) of Rosina and Morphett Streets. It's most likely a small property. The car parks, I guess, would be accessed from the rear by the laneway behind the TAFE College.

Not sure if this has been posted anywhere before. 6 level apartment block, east end of Flinders Street and almost complete.

You can see the back of Tivoli apartments in the above pic.

Brings a bit more height to this end of town.

Honestly, that building looks awful. It is very bland. I'm just glad a tree at least covers it up a bit...

You're dead right. It's very unremarkable. It does make you wonder about some of the developments that get approved. I would have thought the council's agenda is to continually enhance the CBD's appearance not blotch it with this type of project.

The render for the above mentioned building. Was bland in the render and is bland in real life. But quite honestly what do you expect from student accommodation...

Looks like Student-designed accommodation. It reminds me of the awfully bland MusicCorp building on the corner of Richmond and South Rds.

Yes it is SOHO.

I would further like to take this opportunity to say that the building looks nothing like the render.

Thanks Will.

I'll give the developers the benefit of the doubt until they've finished the cladding.

A development application has been lodged with the ACC for the site at 125 Sturt Street. It is for the rection of a 5 level building comprising 22 affordable units. The development has been designated as category 3 'non-complying' by the ACC.

I know it's out-of-character for the area, but I'd like to see buildings of at least 8-10 levels on that part of Sturt St. Still, it's lifting the general height of the area, so if it's of decent design, I hope the ACC approves.

This one is now on public consultation. The number of apartments has been increased to 26:

I suspect that northeast perspective is actually a northwest perspective.
