Well, I officially proclaim this Adelaide's sexiest building.

Would have loved it even more if there was no deviation from the first public renders...
...but still, it's a great building. Definitely one of the city's most interesting recent developments.

The curtain wall is done, and it looks dead set brilliant. Pity I didn't have my camera on me.

well now that the outside facade is completed (especially the glass curtain), am I allowed to say that I reckon this is one of the greatest architectural masterpieces ever built in this city. I think this is up there with anything in the world. Its ultra modern, but it hasnt needed to be too daring to do it( ie like a gerkin or twisty L shaped stuff). I like its box look, I love how the building's outside look emphasises/incorporates what the building is used for (ie SA Water - the water effect of the glass curtain). How many other office blocks have done this. It sits perfectly between a century old cathedral, another modern building and a city square. Even the brown vertical strips at the bottom look good, it reminds me of a TV (the curtain) sitting on a TV cabinet (those browny strips)
I could go on and on. I like it. I hope the designers win a few awards for this.

i heard a rumour there is a large "water droplet" art piece suspended in the foyer of this building - is that true?

The best thing about this building is how it looks alongside the Commonwealth Law Courts.
Thanks muchly for the photos -- I've been out-of-town for the last few weeks and haven't had a chance to see the progress.

Thanks for the photos. This one is really looking very good. Now that the barriers are going the amount of glass for the foyer area is more obvious from the north and west and it looks great too. Once the building is all cleaned up it will look even more stunning.

I even hear people commenting how good this one looks when I eavesdrop on the trams.

Silly Shuz, trams aren't for riding -- they're there to ring their little bells and bring life to the street with their dynamic motion.
SA Water is looking lubly jubly. The glass curtain's a nice feature. and there's so many contrasting architectural features all working together, it's awesome.

While I had not heard about the "droplet" I did hear there will be some interesting lighting design involving simulated water on the floor as you walk in.

If it's at all possible without incurring the wrath of burly security types, we ought to take photos of the lobby when it opens - interior design changes so frequently these days that many fine lobbies and public areas are lost without so much as a single record of their existence.

Was at the Tapleys Hill Road viewing area for the airport to see the A380 come in. This shiny new building caught my eye in the distance so i got out my binoculars and saw that is was SA Water
As jk said, i hope the architects win some awards for this one as it should be used as a benchmark for future design in Adelaide!

Fantastic building. The vista to the south-east when crossing the Square from Grote to Wakefield street is pretty special now. Trams, trees and and sexy blue buildings... More of it.
