Looks as though Holey Moley are expanding and taking over the ground floor tenancy of their building where Cafe Amore use to be, currently a liquor license notice on the window stating as such.

Three bars just opened on the old Red October site - Blue Venus upstairs, Shotgun Willie's at ground level, and Memphis Slim's House of Blues downstairs, the latter two both belonging to the owner of Cry Baby.
Went to Slim's on Friday, my kind of place

Red October was an odd one with such a large footprint. I hope these Kiki bars really bring a great crowd.
Do you know if it’s like Rocket/Mr Kim’s where the bars connect? Or at least use to.

Memphis Slim's uses the back stairs inside to share the toilets with Shotgun Willie's, so in theory you can walk between the two but not sure if it's encouraged. Willie's opens up onto the street via double doors.
Blue Venus and Memphis Slim's share a front door to the main stairs up and down, but that's as close as they get.

That's old news.
I had Five Guys in London and found it a bit overrated.

Billy's Lane - Boneshaker Cafe, Gelina Milk Bar, Little Pot and Bao have closed in Myer Centre Food Court, they hadn't paid rent for 3 months and had a foreclosure on the stores, a black hording was placed in front of the stores. The lights are still on and nothing has changed behind it. Also the sushi shop next to them and Boost as also closed. Quite a few empty eateries in Myer Centre food court now.

I was wondering what the deal was there. Shame, because they were good little spots.
