Street level looks sophisticated and classy - really extends the 'city' feel into that area. Hoping this WILL get built. A great entrance statement to the southern end of the city/
With this and Mayfield added to the area it further pushes for the southern tram stop to be better developed.

That City South tramstop nearby NEEDS reworking. It's sooooo bad! I thought they would've fixed it when they built that massive building on the corner of KW and Gilles (I think). But yes, this building needs to be built!

Unfortunately being this is my local stop I have spoken to the council who advise that Metro Adelaide don't have any plans in the near future to upgrade this stop as it is in close proximity to The South Terrace stop .... Can half see their logic but now with the 99A and 99C stops right next to it and redeveloped mind you ... Their reasoning doesn't stack is a shocking stop in winter and summer considering trams rarely run on time you spend some time at this stop exposed to the elements and the traffic

That's bullshit from the Council.
Pirie Street, Rundle Mall, Victoria Square, Adelaide Railway Station tram stops are closer to one another than City South is to South Terrace.
You're better off emailing DPTI and get an answer from them.

I hear ya! Let's start this baby, possibly one of the nicest buildings to grace Adelaide in years.

According to their marketing agent, Ironfish, 40% of their 200 apartments are sold in 2 weeks.

When did Ironfish start selling Vue on King William? I did register my interest on the website but still haven got any contact yet.

I've from some good sources that this one is cracking along at a good pace.
The developers are top notch with a great track record, I am actually feeling very positive that this is going to happen and actually look good.

I am not so positive.
I find it hard to believe that 40% of the apartments have been sold already.
I would say we're looking at a 5 year time frame. Have a look at Vision on Morphett
for example. That was first promoted 3 years ago and won't be finished for another 18 months.

From the City Messenger:
http://www.adelaidenow.com.au/realestat ... 6879249190
ONE of the designers of Sydney’s landmark The Ivy entertainment complex is creating a luxurious outdoor area for what will be Adelaide’s tallest residential building.
Woods Bagot design leader Enzo Caroscio says the pool and recreation deck in the 27-level, 85m Vue on King William project will bring some eastern seaboard style to Adelaide..................

Yes, but Vision has some very ordinary architecture, in one of the more average spots in the city, and your comparing two different developers.
Im sorry but comparing Vision to Vue is stupid. People will pay a price for good architecture and living, and with views over the park lands, access to trams, close proximity to the central markets and victoria square, it has much more going for it.
