Second crane going in today. Have a couple of photos on my i-phone but no cable! Will put them up tonight.

Came across this interesting presentation prepared for the ATO dated March 2010 which formed part of a more recent enquiry into the fitout costs.

Shows an interesting break up of how the building will be used and confirms we are getting the 20 level version (level 20 = plant room) not the reduced number of levels as previously thought.

Count the actual floors on the isometric plan and render. The way they have referred to their floor numbering is the problem. You actually need to count the levels.

Ah yeh I see what your saying.

Do we know if any of the gouger Street processing will be transferred here?

I would love to see that building go but doesn't look like there is enough space in this building for trucks and the like.

From today. The lift well is on the way up at last. And lots of formwork for the ground floor level so the whole building should start moving up pretty soon.

Thanks for the picture update Professor. Much more interesting than the Adelaide Oval thread of late. Yawn

I drove past this today and noticed how the first level formwork has shot up. It will really start to fly up soon after all that difficult basement, transformer work last year.

Here is a recent aerial shot from realcommercial.com with the CC cranes in the background. This shot was taken for the site in Wright Street which I believe had an application for office/apartments with Council last year and went quiet.

There are multi-level parking stations in every CBD. They are probably better hidden by taller buildings, but they are still there.

That shot illustrates how much we need the Vic Square re-dev. It has the potential to be a great European styled square! There are some lovely buildings on the fringe. Just get rid of the damned roads... but anyhoo I am way off topic here..
