So are the old H-Class back in 'special' service again? I remember them doing a short stint a few years ago, running them on an hourly Saturday / Sunday timetable?

No they are not.351 is the only one completed.There are no plans to reintroduce the Tourist service.

I'm all for preserving the Old H cars, but why are they bothering to track test trams they have no intention of placing into service?!
