Nice graph shuz :) it helps set things into perspective a lot.

However, according to this, http://www.knightfrank.com.au/content/u ... sdev10.pdf

City Central Tower 4 is 30,000sqm not 12,000sqm

Yeah, I've noticed a couple of errors here and there. I'll fix them up soon.

Updated with further edits.

Before you interject, just on a technicality, both the Spire Living and Currie Street developments are actually both on hold, not cancelled. There is still some slim hope for both projects as the developers have simply only put the sites & approved DA's up for sale.,

What this means that a new developer could come along and purchase the proposal off the previous developer and go straight to construction, as the DA in question is still technically approved by the ACC/DAC. It saves both time and money than to avoid going through the tedious process of bureaucratic red tape with a new proposal.

It almost never happens, though. :P

An additional 6 cranes will be located on-site for the new RAH development according to today's presentation by the Treasurer. These cranes are listed as an 'economic benefit'.

As I've said previously, the view of North Tce coming into the city from Port Rd is going to be a forest of cranes in 12-18 months time with RAH, Adelaide Oval, casino etc. It will be gobsmacking!

August 2011 Update

There's been an upswing in the number of projects now moving into the early stages of construction with site works in currently in progress.
I'm guessing we'll see an extra 5 cranes by the end of September? Rundle Plaza Arcade (2), 12-14 Rowlands Place, Illumin8, and 74-80 Light Square moving from site works to structural construction stages. It looks like Globe Apartments has topped out, and crane should be down by month's end.
End of September could likely see 9 or 10 cranes on the skyline.

Let me know if there are any errors.

Its unrealistic to think we will see a crane on the Harris Scarfe site by the end of September.
End of the year would be more likely.
