Ahh what the hell happened to this....
Or is it just temporary fix to cover up an ugly blank wall?, until the key corner tenant moves in. Possibly LV.
(Previous render)

I’ve heard today from someone involved in one of the luxury brands that was to open in Burnside that they are no longer opening and a number of others have now also not committed as LV underperformed and various other market conditions. This brand will be turning their attention to a CBD location.

And what's going on with the middle side wall I wonder. Also very different to the original render. Money troubles?
I recall they were waiting for tenants to decide on signage etc but shouldn't doors & windows would be in by now?

No not Tiffany. I assume IF they do move to Burnside it will be temporary maybe 5 years max while ACP redevelopment happens.

I was not aware of a ACP redevelopment. Sounds good.
As much as I like burnside, I would genuinely prefer our high end brands to stay in the CBD, specifically Rundle mall. The foot traffic there is the highest of any mall in the nation, and ensures financial security for business for those lucky enough to secure a spot on the mall.
I welcome seeing Tiffany return to Adelaide central plaza after redevelopment, and hope to see Louis Vuitton, Gucci and others in the city.
If luxury businesses want to be successful in Adelaide, it has to be first store in the city, and then a second in somewhere like burnside.

I think it is a painting of a sheet covering up the wall until some monumental unveiling.

Guys I think Tiffany is pulling out ACP for a reason I doubt they are gonna invest in a new store in burnside only to close it and re open back at ACP. Plus they are in the worst spot on north terrace and their showcase windows are usually smashed.

That was announced back in 2023. So what you’re telling me is that the redevelopment is starting now? Or soon?

Does Burnside (or Adelaide) have enough money for Prada? Or Balenciaga?
That entire corner and extending to Greenhill Road leaves a lot to the imagination.
Maybe their intent is fake 'windows' (backlit from behind). That's about all that could be delivered at the moment, based on what's constructed.
