2 Cranes seems a lot for this. The Crane that's there now is large enough to cover the whole development as it is. Maybe it's just me though. Would both these Cranes be used for the Festival Centre Tower as well? Or is that in a different location?

Different location. The number of cranes could be determined not only by the coverage their booms offer, but also their lifting capacities. I've seen buildings with smaller footprints than this have multiple cranes.

Not that much has happened in the last couple of weeks - just some competed columns and some starter bars for more columns. This is a difficult site to get any decent pictures. 7/7/2018.

That box to the left in Norman's last photo now houses the second crane base for this site

They seem to be going to build some sort of cover over the walk way from the station to the foot bridge. (in the centre of the picture).. Most of the Festival car park is gone but there is nowhere to get a good picture. (any one got a drone?)

Massive construction site when you include the Festival Plaza as well.

The walk way to the Torrens foot bridge is now being enclosed. See middle of picture. (18/8/2018).

Looks like the core is close to being formed up and finalised, plus it's good to see a concrete pump base in place. Progress should really start to pick up soon.

I'll be interesting to see how the walkway tunnel is constructed, from the renders it's a pretty impressive structure.
