You can take mine, I am happy to use the tin can with a whistle attached to it that I have in the back shed!Omicron wrote:My poor internal organs. This is now on public notification for the amended higher design. There are a few new renders too.

These are welcome changes.
In essence the changes entail:
*The design of the buildings now appears to be more 'streamlined', with less adornements
*The northern tower now has a 'grand' balcony to pay homage to the building currently on site
*The southern tower is now 20 levels.

Ben, Will, Howie this is in the wrong thread. It should be 139 - 140A North Terrace.

Much more impressive. NT is getting a real solid wall of high rise developing. (with Masonic proposal). New buildings appear to have the awning/cantilievers needed for Adelaide's unpredictable climate variations. also more conducive to pedestrians staying in the area. Quite stylish.

It's a welcome development, and should be a great 'gap filler' on the Northern Skyline.
I'm most keen to see how this affects Bank St, but it seems positive from the looks of things.

This will definitely liven up Bank Street. Hopefully we'll get one of those vibrant side alleyways we've been talking about. Maybe a makeover a-la-Leigh Street?SRW wrote:It's a welcome development, and should be a great 'gap filler' on the Northern Skyline.

As long as there are no similarities whatsoever to the public housing mish-mash that is Octagon/Spark/Misfire Apartments, I'm all in favour.
