The only height I was able to find is 49.56 metres FFL (Finish Floor Level). Can't say how much above sea level the ground floor is, but it wouldn't be more than 20 metres since we're talking about West Lakes. Anyone know?

Cheers

The waters surrounding West Lakes are sea-level as they connect with the Port Canal. This would be barely a metre above, so it very well appears a 49m high structure.

There is no way an 8 level residential building would be 49m! I suspect it will be more like 29m.

I had a look today - piling rig is assembled & looks ready to go, but no piles inserted yet.

We are both about right. The North and South Towers have a height of 29.340 to roof level. The elevator shaft goes beyond that and I would assume it to be a further 3-odd metres.

For the record:
Architects: David Dawson Architects
Interior Design: Misho Associates

Is 'Infinity Waters' anywhere near this new approval?

IMO can see more of this in West Lakes and like already said, will increase the case for a trainline. (or...tramline - via the airport and down Gouger St as well????

There was a pile in the rig today, ready for insertion, & the promotional signage is clearly for "The West Lakes Collection"
(not "Twin Waters") & site = http://www.westlakescollection.com.au/home

That looks like a new proposal to me, because the twins are two 8 storey towers, and this is a singular 8 storey tower, and Infinity is already complete...

These West Lakes developments are confusing, using both Twin Waters & The West Lakes Collection, but as AtD said earlier, this
is a duplicate thread of #Approved: The West Lakes Collection, 2x8storey, $75m http://www.sensational-adelaide.com/for ... 5&start=15

This project is "definitely" being promoted & marketed as "The West Lakes Collection" ( http://www.westlakescollection.com.au/home )

Most of the piles appear to have been inserted, a new site fence has been erected along the footpath by the lake, and the pile rig is now
off-site in the car park of the Chinese restaurant next door. The promotional signage has been removed, so will the name be changed
yet again?
