There's that, plus also keep in mind that there's been a lot more coverage and exposure of residential towers going up in the city lately.
It's creating interest. There is a market for this sort of lifestyle in Adelaide, it's just relatively untapped compared to the east coast cities obviously.
A building like Vue, the tallest resi in Adelaide, actually getting off the ground, more then helps in that regard. Especially the fact that it's the "tallest" something.

Looking at that video on the website, either the person who did the rendering got their settings wrong on the reflectiveness of the glass, or we've got a giant concave mirror on our hands aimed at scorching anyone headed along South Tce.

I truly hope this one goes ahead. Nice to have some height in this corner of the city.

There's only 20-ish apartments in this building. Half sold should almost justify just getting on with it...

I was curious about the state of play so emailed the agent a couple of days ago. I asked why their dedicated August Towers "realestate.com.au" page (which talked about the site, it's history, blah, and listed 6 of 23 as unsold) did not align with this website which shows 13 unsold. Also some minor differences such as which specific apartments are available/sold, and the prices for each - varying by up to $400k. Small matters I know

Well i've received no reply, but today the dedicated realestate.com.au page is gone. There's now only 1 apartment advertised for sale, down from 6 a couple of days ago. However the http://www.augusttowers.com.au/price-list site still shows 13 unsold.

Truly a professional sales team!
