It's the CML building at the intersection of Hindley and King William streets, they are going to paint a mural on the hoardings that are boarding up the street level. If the property owners are doing this off their own bat, well I'll tip my hat to them; that's a rather nice change from the "I'll leave hoardings up as long as I please and damned if you can stop me" attitude that we get from, say, a property over in North Adelaide.

I know the building, I just wasnt sure what the word hoarding referred to, cheers Prince George. For a minute there I was worried they were actually going to paint a mural on the walls of the building itself at ground level!

I was in rundle mall yesterday walking west and looked up at this building and was very sad to see a bright green grafiti tag towards the very top of the eastern facade. I then noticed that the majority of the windows in the building have been tagged also. Seems as if a bunch of dips**ts with nothing better to do have broken into the building and had their way with it. Surely this can't be part of the art-work on the hording on the ground floor? Its definately vandalism. It amazes me how a building as prominant as this was able to be vandalised in the way that it has. The entire building is literally covered. It now looks like something off the set of Batman in Gotham city.

very, very sad.

this is what happens when buildings get bought by speculative developers who don't have the backing to actually do anything with the building.

I saw that too and was wondering how they managed to get some of those tags up there. Some of them would've literally had to climb across and spray on the walls

Obviously nothing better to do with small minds like that - a discredit to Adelaide. Such an outstanding bldg too! All about 'look at me!'

The tag right at the top is on part of the building where the roof forms a bit of a gable. It literally would have been a climb out onto the roof job...50m+ above street level! The things fools will do to make themselves (or at least their shitty "art work") known. I still can't understand how no one noticed them doing it at the time, it's KWS, ffs there is always someone around.

Sure, there's always someone around. But not necessarily looking upwards.
