We haven't been told otherwise. I believe the signage removal from the Corebox happened because the size of the box changed when they reached the apartment floors and they probably decided that it's not worth the cost to put up new signage up for the remainder of the time.

Because centrally located real estate in a dynamic, vibrant, multi-million metropolis that is a government, transportation, communication and financial hub for a large countries, even if they are in the third world, is surely more expensive than a plot in a flat, peripheral, sclerotic country town with an empty hinterland...

Furthermore, have you all forgotten the obvious. No construction worker in the third world will be on $80K a year, no crane operator in the third world will be on $120k a year....
In the third world there probably isn't WorkCover, RDOs, green and rainbow tape....
In the third world, the application and development process is probably not as rigorous as here. You could probably bribe an official for approval in most developing countries....

I'm here because I live in Adelaide, am interested in city development, construction and architecture, and I'm in this particular thread because I have a vested interest in the building....
to bring the discussion back to a little bit more relevance, below is an image of a just opened Sofitel hotel in Beijing, that has substantial architectural similarity to this one in Adelaide. Personally I might have a slight preference for the Beijing one, but I don't think they really differ much and am doubtful that the Beijing one would actually work as well in the Adelaide location.

ok, I based my figure on the bus being around 2.5m. to be 100m would require around 40 buses stacked on top of each other. I have no idea what each floor would measure.

I did it by the ratio of constructed floors to total floors times the total height. Room heights are 2.7m so with celing/floorplate inbetween levels each is somewhere over 3 meters.
