You'd think that the massive floor plates of the convention centre would need at least 2 cranes either side of the existing building, so we're talking big numbers by mid next year. Tower 8's might be gone by that time. but still...

I know about the RAH having 6 - but can you please backup/prove your source that Adelaide Oval will have 4?

Hi - great to be back. I am trying to remember a time when there were more than 10 cranes working on the Adelaide skyline and am struggling. But with Uni SA and the other projects mentioned starting soon it will be a great 2012 for Adelaide and for SA. It's also great to see SA at the beginning of a period of prosperity that will provide advantages to all of us.

The crane at Franklin Street is still half complete. Mast is assembled but no A-frame, jibs, cab or boom to be seen yet.

You cant install the jib, cabin and counter jib during the week, you need a complete street closure... however you can lift the tower sections during the day within the site, fair chance its going up tomorrow i'd say..

The last Rundle Place crane went up today. Looks like we will finish the year on our highest total yet of 11. Looking forward to doubling that next year. Who would've thought we only had 2 at the start of 2011!
