Was there any talk on how long commuters using the train would be disrupted for?

Thanks for the amazing info and photos by the way Norman!

Since the station will be built where the car park is, the shutdown will be on weekends, long weekends and maybe a 4-5 week shutdown between the city and Brighton. All that detail is still being evaluated and will depend on the final design.

Go for it! You can also share the information from the Sensational Adelaide Facebook page.

Looks great. Hope they actually keep the grassed area long term, this area could do with a bit more grass around!

Station precinct looks great! Still think there is a missed opportunity for better integration with aquatic, cultural and shopping centres. Maybe in years to come there will be a more defined link.

Apparently the council and state government are making the link better by reducing the amount of pedestrian traffic lights people need to cross and providing a pathway to the Aquatic Centre away from Morphett Road. This will be along Diagonal Way, which will be partially closed to traffic, subject to council approval.

I will continue follow this up over the course of the project.

That's good new Norman, but I guess I was envisioning a proper strip of low rise apartments, with small shops and business at street level, kind of Mawson Lakes style .. instead of the housing along there at present.

New fly through video can be seen here:

There was also an article on this in the Advertiser today but it is behind their paywall. The project manager quoted 2-3 weeks of disruption for Seaford line passengers, which is amazing news for my commute.

Despite a petition to save the “Marion Forest” most of the large old trees by Oaklands have been cut down and a fairly significant hole is appearing.

Evening works scheduled next Friday and Saturday night so substitute buses will be in operation.

There should be either a N3 running express to Oaklands or a N5 express to Seaford departing City at around 9pm on the Friday night

An express service to Brighton would be handy, but an express bus to Seaford would be a waste of money.
