Yes, I like the bricks, too. Mind you, if the ICC doesn't pull its head in soon, there won't be any opposition teams left to play at Adelaide Oval.

Can't wait to try the stand out for the upcoming Cricket season. Got my invitation to join the SACA so once my $680 goes over, I'll be in
It will be interesting to see the finer details from inside. The renders we were sent were impressive, but seeing how they translate in real life will be kicker. Good too see the roof section is nearly done too.

so you got the transferable too did ya? i'm also keen to experience the new section of the venue, I quite enjoyed the member's area out the back of the old stand, interested to see how much less space there is back there now with the larger new stand.

$ 680 only gets you one ticket, IIRC the existing members like myself paid $360 for our membership, but the newbies like my dad and brother have to pay not only the $360, but a $300+ one-off joining fee.. Hey gotta pay for the new facility somehow eh. A transferable Assoc.card usually costs abt $300. I haven't ever had a reason to buy one, I've finally moved back to ADL and had to convert my interstate/country membership back to a standard full. We should organise a SA get together for the SACA members once summer rolls around:) I'd be up for a beer or three discussing our beautiful city, anyone else up for it?

Same here Pikes.
Spiller, I'm guessing the extra $ is the once-off entrance fee, with the transferable being extra still.

Yep, the funds spoken is for a new membership, so the $360 for the ticket and the rest in application. So between SACA membership, cat one AAMI and Power membership, I'm looking at over $1k. how to explain that to the missus!
But once construction is done, I'm very keen for a SenAd SACA members meet up! Say, day two of the ashes test?

oh true, i'm not sure if they have had that intro fee when I joined up back in '04 i think it was. 1K in memberships is substantial, but you have some good access there (bar the power bit :p). think about how much better it will be to consolidate all of those memberships into one package (probably for a similar price) when footy moves there

What does it cost for a full year membership to the MCC(MCG)? Admittedly they have 2 'events' AdOv is never going to get, ALF Granny and Boxing Day Cricket. but a full season of cricket and access to 11 home crows games and 11 home Pap games would be worth perhaps $650-$800. I'm sure there are pointy headed squints doingf the number crunching somewhere. What would you pay?
I'm leting my Crows membership lapse from next season as I'm finding that I'm less interested in going to AFC games. I haven't missed an Adelaide United game in 4 seasons, but the crows (and ALF in general) are giving me the "meh" at the moment.

I filled out an extensive online survey about this when the SMA were gathering data and of all the combinations, the top memberships were around $1,000. Thats for premium seating, with access to all cricket and football to be played at the ground.
