Yeah they are different . I hear it's a new company and the two directors of this company are from Baulderstone . If this is the case this is a massive effort to take two projects on this size. They obviously know their craft , good luck to them.

All good then. I've had bad experience with Synergy PM and thought that with the same name and in a similar industry that they may be connected.

Starfish have bought a block of land in the city and should release plans for another residential building in the next couple of months. I thought I would post it here as I don't think this has been reported previously on this website :
A vacant block in Adelaide’s CBD that has sat empty for 20 years has been acquired by Starfish Developments for a new residential apartment project.
Situated at the intersection of Morphett Street, Whitmore Square and Wright Street, the 1,950 square metre site is within walking distance of Gouger Street, Riverbank precinct and the heart of the CBD.
The acquisition follows the success of Starfish’s joint venture on Vue on King William, a 26-storey residential building also in Adelaide’s CBD.
The Whitmore Square project will reflect the rising interest in apartment living in the city.
“The South Australian apartment market is maturing and we’re determined to support its development by continuing to raise the bar with well located, well designed and sensibly priced projects,” said Starfish Developments Managing Director Damon Nagel.
Starfish has announced Woods Bagot to design the new Whitmore Square project, having worked previously with architect.
According to The Advertiser, Starfish expects to lodge a development application before the end of the year with marketing expected to commence in the first quarter of next year.
Knight Franks’ Tony Ricketts and Guy Bennett managed the sale.
Starfish Developments’ other projects in the pipeline include two projects in St Clair, on Chestnut Crescent, and on Avenue. Both of which have fully sold.

A friend who works as a cement truck driver told me that they're doing a huge delivery job for this development not this Saturday but the next.

They already had a showroom and sold almost every apartment. I swear sometimes you just post things for the sake of it.

I wrote a post about the Whitmore square site which I believe is a better location then Vue.
Another member then said that there would be a big concrete pour on the site so I thought
he was talking about the Whitmore square site, not the Vue site.

I had a good look at this site on Saturday and the raft slab on this site is huge. Considering the site isn't massive, the lower raft, which has had its first pour and the reinforcing steel set up for the main pour, would have to be 1.5 to 1.8m thick. The core can also be easily identified, centrally located on the eastern side of the plot. All of the soil is pretty much gone bar a section remaining at the South Eastern corner.
This site is seriously flying progress wise. I wouldn't be surprised if this is rising very soon.

Crane is up with the eureka flag flying proudly.
Looks like the signage on the crane "maxcon" will be lit up at nights.

Some pictures taken today Sunday 9 Nov 2014 showing the slab and the column potions. In the picture showing the car park, the small building on the extreme right is the development at 16-18 Gilbert St, (see low rise Development section).
