Very nice, and rather unique. Well done, those men!

4 more of those, and we would have ourselves a pretty damned good skyline over in the Westside of the city.
The only risk is, would 4 of the exact same tower end up looking a bit "London Estate" / "Commie Block"?

I've heard some strange things about the devlopment mainly to do with low ceilings and interesting finishes.

Overall I agree Rhino although the colour selected to paint the cement with hardly seems to differ from 'cement' as a colour.rhino wrote:Very nice, and rather unique. Well done, those men!

I took a walk around the area last week and I noticed that the render in the displays around it (the same one that's on their website - http://www.theprecinctcbd.com.au, and I defy you not to get irritated by the butterfly ) showed the finish as being reflective. Perhaps not a mirror, but something that reflected back the colour of the adjacent tower. The grey paint does look handsome in its own way, but it's annoying again to be shown one thing and given another.
And LOL at the "architectual philosophy" [sic] saying "the architecture of Altitude ... draws inspiration from the towers of San Gimignano". For reference, here's San Gimignano,

San Gimignano? Does that mean each one will be built higher than the last, in some kind of medieval pissing competition and that the occasional one will fall down?

Oh, I've got my fingers crossed. They really were the Dubai of the late middle-ages.monotonehell wrote:San Gimignano? Does that mean each one will be built higher than the last, in some kind of medieval pissing competition and that the occasional one will fall down?

Agreed - LOL - our development looks far better than that - just as well. Hope to see all 5 towers in the end.Prince George wrote:I took a walk around the area last week and I noticed that the render in the displays around it (the same one that's on their website - http://www.theprecinctcbd.com.au, and I defy you not to get irritated by the butterfly ) showed the finish as being reflective. We know what this looks like from a full-height view, however, I think this is the first image shown on this website showing the building's ground floor interaction. It appears that the building will contain retail tenancies.

This ain't so bad. As I've said earlier, multiples of this would be too hilarious, but this is an example of Adelaide at least experimenting. Looking better than I'd hoped. My dad hates it so that's something.

I noticed this building now has two of those red aircraft warning lights on it's roof.

I like this even more after seeing that photo - thanks Will.
