Kodo means heartbeat in Japanese. Not sure of the reasoning behind using Japanese but it’s meant to relate to being centre of the city. It does sound better than calling it ‘heartbeat’.

Well you learn something new everyday.

I thought Kodo was the name of that talking gorilla.
